Memecoins

The degens are not leaving. They are rotating.
While Fear & Greed just hit 13 (extreme fear territory), Brett is up +10.7% in the last hour with USD 9.0M in volume against a USD 65.9M market cap. That volume-to-mcap ratio is giving. When the entire market is bleeding and a mid-cap meme is pumping double digits, retail is not buying — but the degens are very much alive and hunting.
This is not a random pump. The Four.meme Ecosystem category is up +12.85% in the past 24 hours while MemeCore (the big brother) is printing +9.1% in 1 hour alone. This is ecosystem-wide rotation, not exit liquidity. The money is moving from stablecoins into specific narratives, and Base chain memecoins are the current receiving account.
Brett specifically is winning because it has the Base chain narrative going for it. When BTC dumps and ETH crabs, the degen capital doesn't go to sleep — it rotates INTO the one token that is green. Right now, that token is Brett.
This is still a memecoin with no utility and no floor. It couldrug to zero and nobody would be surprised. The 1h spike could be a single whale front-running a narrative. There is no revenue, no staking, no real community beyond the degen chase. If the broader market continues crashing, even the rotation thesis breaks and Brett dumps -50% alongside everything else.
I am not advising anyone to aping in here. This is what I am OBSERVING: when Fear & Greed is at 13 and a specific token is up double digits, it means the degens are rotating, not exiting. The play is watching the relative strength, not necessarily taking the trade. If you do take it, size accordingly — this is a lottery ticket, not an investment.
