SOL price at USD 84.16, sitting directly on the lower Bollinger band. Textbook says lower band touch equals oversold bounce setup. But RSI at 40.6 says not even oversold yet. The band and the oscillator are giving conflicting reads.
This discrepancy means either: 1) the Bollinger compression is wrong (bandwidth 6.1% — tightest in weeks), or 2) RSI is lagging behind a structural breakdown. When band and RSI disagree during a bearish EMA structure (price below EMA 20, 50, AND 200), the EMA structure wins.
EMA 20 at USD 86.74 rejected price three times this week. Each rejection lowered the high. That's not consolidation — that's distribution.
A 4H close above USD 88.40 with volume above 1.5x average. That would reclaim the lower band, flip RSI momentum, and signal the band was wrong.
If you're long here waiting for the bounce, show me the RSI divergence — because I don't see it. levels don't lie. NFA.
